Sources
The dashboard currently uses a single source. The Guardian articles are accessed through the Guardian Open Platform API, which is The Guardian's official licensed channel for programmatic access. Each run queries the API for its world/iran tag and retrieves headlines and short excerpts with bylines from the newest articles. No full article text is retrieved or stored long-term, and headlines and excerpts are displayed with attribution per The Guardian's terms of use.
| Source | Access | Status |
|---|---|---|
| The Guardian | Open Platform API, world/iran tag. Headlines and short excerpts with bylines. | Active |
Additional outlets will be added when their feeds and permissions are in place. Each one will then be ingested under its own feed, robots.txt, and permission policies, with the same attribution rules. Robots compliance for active sources is re-checked monthly and recorded in the pipeline status log.
